The McLoud Redskins end the season with a road contest against the winless Douglass Trojans 7 p.m. Friday.
Redskins’ sophomore running back Clint Campbell has a chance to go over 1,000 yards on the season. So far Campbell totaled 956 yards on 131 attempts, with 14 going for touchdowns.
Senior quarterback Collin Gibson went over the 1,000-yard mark in the win over Bridge Creek. On the season Gibson has 1,128 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Wes Olds just missed back-to-back 100-yard receiving performances. Still an impressive stat line, Olds hauled in four receptions for 90 yards with a touchdown against Bridge Creek, and a 5-reception 112-yard and one-score effort against Anadarko.
Bethel (5-2) vs Holdenville (2-4) – 7 p.m.
The Wildcats will finally get a crack at the Wolverines to end the week. Bethel’s contest with Holdenville was pushed back to Oct 26, but the recent ice storm forced the teams to cancel. Bethel was originally scheduled to face Purcell Friday.
Meeker (4-4) @ Jones (6-2) – 7 p.m.
Senior running back Caden Wolford eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in the 37-30 comeback victory over Crossings Christian last week. Wolford has 1,093 yards and 15 touchdowns on 154 carries.
Tecumseh (4-4) @ John Marshall (3-4) – 7 p.m.
The Savages return to action after a brief layoff. Tecumseh’s last game came on Oct. 15 when they fell to Blanchard 34-14. Ty Bullock and company own wins over Lone Grove (21-19), Elgin (41-19)
