BancFirst continues support of United Way of Pottawatomie County during COVID-19

BancFirst recently donated $475.94 to United Way of Pottawatomie County. The funds were raised during the Frenzy on Federal virtual 5k.

“BancFirst has proudly supported the United Way of Pottawatomie County for decades,” said BancFirst President Casey Bell. “We believe that a healthy community includes a healthy not-for-profit environment.”

BancFirst was has also continued its employee giving campaign, despite the obstacles presented by COVID-19. In 2020, to reduce the number of employees gathered at one time, each BancFirst location in Pottawatomie County participated in a rally where BancFirst employees learned about
United Way partner agencies and made their yearly pledge.

Frenzy on Federal was adapted to a virtual 5k race due to COVID-19 concerns. The annual event had previously included food trucks, live music, and family activities.

“We’re thankful for BancFirst and the support they’ve provided, especially the way they have adapted to support United Way during these unprecedented times,” said United Way Pottawatomie County Executive Director Miriam Bell. “We look forward to continuing the partnership for many years.”
