Clark remains undefeated in 2021, Ouachita Baptist outswim Henderson State

ARKADELPHIA, AR – The Ouachita Baptist women’s swimming team edged out Henderson State for the third-straight meet Saturday, winning 128-75.

Junior Lilia Clark picked up a pair of individual victories for the third time in four meets this season. Clark finished first in all seven individual events she has competed in during the 2021 portion of the schedule.

Clark took first in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke and contributed to the 200-yard medley relay team that took first, along with Kaitlyn MontgomerySydney Parker and Jade Ashley

Camilla Howarth won the 1000 yard freestyle. Montgomery added a win in the 400 meter individual medley. Avery Sewell picked up her second victory of the season on Saturday as she finished first in the 100 yard freestyle. Anna Kate Velasquez won the 500 yard freestyle. Howarth, Sofia RizoRachel Sansano and Sewell combined to take first in the 200 yard freestyle relay.

The TigerSharks are back in the pool Jan. 30 at Little Rock, taking on the host Williams Baptist.
