Green nets 19, Andrézieux-Bouthéon Loire Sud dominates CFBB

Andrézieux-Bouthéon, France – Back on track.

The Andrézieux-Bouthéon Loire Sud basketball club earned its second victory of the season with a dominating 70-54 drubbing of Centre Federal Du Basket-Ball (CFBB) Tuesday.

Steven Green led the scoring charge with a team-high 19 points. Green was highly efficient scoring 19 points on 5-10 shooting (2-5 3PT) and 7-10 from the charity stripe.

Franck Yangue-Tankeu and Nadyr Labouize joined Green in double figures with 11 points each.

HenryPreira led the club with nine rebounds. Preira added seven points in the winning effort.

With the win, the team moves to 2-1 and currently sits tied for second in Nationale Masculine 1 Group B play.

Green scored 685 points in 46 games over two seasons on Bison Hill. Green’s collegiate career-high came on Jan. 23, 2016 when he dropped 33 at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Green played for the Northern Arizona Suns of the G League in 2017-2018. He averaged 1.17 points per game in six appearances.

Andrézieux-Bouthéon (2-1) returns to action Oct. 16 against So Pont De Cheruy Charvieu Chavanoz (1-1)
