MAUD – With a win Friday, the Maud Tigers will have a .500 or better record for the first time since 2016.

Maud (4-5) will host Wilson-Henryetta (2-4) in the season finale Friday.

White believes his team is dialed in for the final regular season contest and beyond.

“For us, there isn’t anything different,” White said. “We all know we have a job to do. We aren’t focused on our record. The short-term goal is to win this week, but our long-term goal is to get better every week.”

If you are only as good as your last win, Maud is fresh off a 46-0 drubbing of then 4-1 Graham-Dustin. In the win, junior running back Dylan Armstrong set the tone, scoring on his first three touches of the game.

The week prior, Maud upended Bowlegs 48-2 in the 59 Bowl. Bryce Bodkin scored a team-leading six touchdowns (4 rushing, 2 passing) in the winning effort.

Wilson’s lone win of the 2020 campaign came in the opening week against Welch (1-4). The Wilson Tigers have been off since Oct. 9.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
