After a 30-0 loss at Chandler last week, the Meeker Bulldogs (3-4) return home to lick their wounds against Crossings Christian (1-5) Friday night.

Sophomore Ty Gabbert took over the reigns at quarterback in recent weeks. In four straight games, Gabbert attempted at least 10 passes in the run-heavy Meeker offense.

With two games remaining, senior Caden Wolford is 158 yards shy of the 1,000-yard threshold. Wolford averages 137.3 yards per game this season. Wolford ran for at least 1,500 yards in his sophomore and junior campaigns.

Crossings Christian enters the game on a four-game losing streak. They were shutout 36-0 at home against Chandler, followed by negative marks against Jones 44-13, Prague 36-30 and Kellyville 34-14.

In similar competition, Meeker fell to Kellyville 60-26 and Chandler 30-0.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday.
