
WICHITA, KS – The No. 19 ranked Oklahoma Baptist volleyball team upended No.11 Nebraska-Kearney in five sets Saturday. The Bison stormed rallied after finding themselves down 2-1, only to take the fourth and fifth sets against UNK.
The Bison upended the Lopers 15-13 in the fifth set. OBU took the final two points including the game-winning kill from Malia Leatherland to pull of the upset.
The Bison took the first set, 25-21, before UNK took the next two matches 25-10 and 25-15. OBU defeated UNK 25-21 to the fourth.
Later in the afternoon, OBU swept Missouri Western State, 25-20, 25-15, 25-14.
OBU (8-0) returns home on March 9 as they take on Northwestern Oklahoma State inside the Noble Complex.
